Why Choose Opere Facto?

Once up and running, many small businesses reach a point where operating costs inhibit further growth. We help you save time and unlock capital by outsourcing IT and automating repetitive processes.

We support you in choosing and integrating the software you need to run your business more efficiently. We can create apps and build bespoke tools and we’re here for you with remote IT support packages that suit the way you work.

We believe everyone has a right to data security and that’s why we help you to protect your personal and business information with rock solid IT security tools and processes.

From sole traders to small enterprise customers, our job is to take care of the IT so you can get the job of growing your business done.

Bob has 28 years professional practice in Information Technology. As a software engineer, he was involved in a number of leading-edge projects, such as the very large Kwik-Fit-Integris custom software project in 1997, as well as the delivery of the GE Enmac Vattenfall electricity control room software project, in 2001, at the time the biggest project of its type in Europe.

Bob has also worked in a number of roles in manufacturing, energy, utilities and the insurance sector followed by a number of years working in small startups. This has led to a broad appreciation of the application of technology and an understanding of the risks and issues associated with the delivery of software.

These days, I help businesses optimise their IT. What that means is I can create new web, mobile or cloud software that you can use to increase your profits. As a consultant I can optimise your business processes, define and optimise your data model, conduct research or provide advice on best practice.

If you plan to get an ultra-complex piece of software that is marketed as ‘’simple’’ to use, but don’t know how to move forward, I can help there as well.

What’s in a name?

We spent a long time searching for a name that would reflect the care and attention we put into the work we do for our customers.

In the end we settled on Opere Facto (pronounced: oh-pere-ay-fact-oh) — a Latin phrase that means “job done” — because we’re here to make sure you get your job done as efficiently as possible and without interruption.
